Sparta, NJ native Robert (Bobby) Wiebel is Econo-Pak’s director of operations, responsible for overseeing 450 employees across two facilities. In addition to his work, Robert Wiebel supports several charitable organizations, including the Center for Developmental Disabilities (CDD) of Pike County, Pennsylvania.
Over 40 years ago, Pike County’s Marion Almquist began helping children with developmental issues and their families. Her work evolved into a program that serves around 200 Pike County families annually. The program includes early intervention and early education that can help children up to kindergarten age.
The CDD provides classroom learning with certified and licensed teachers, and behavioral support staff is on hand to help children with behavioral difficulties, ensuring they will never be removed from a program for that reason. Depending on the needs of the child and family, the organization can also provide home-based care or educational workshops to help support children in learning basic physical, social, and communication skills.
