A director of operations with Econo-Pak, Robert (Bobby) Wiebel graduated from Pope John XXIII High School in Sparta, NJ. Robert Wiebel supports New Jersey’s Integrity House and attended a gala for the organization’s 40th anniversary in 2008 with his family.
In addition to celebrating Integrity House’s 40th year of helping people with mental health and drug addiction issues in the New Jersey region, the gala aimed to raise funds for the Initiative for Women and Children. This initiative was created to help women access childcare and financial support and enable them to find safe and healthy housing.
Integrity House was founded in the 1960s when David Kerr, a parole officer in Newark at the time, began offering informal counseling to his parolees to help them improve their lives and address drug addiction. From there, Integrity House grew into a center that provides programs for men, women, teens, and incarcerated individuals numbering over 2,000 every year. In 2015, former president Barack Obama visited Integrity House in part to acknowledge and highlight its restorative work with people who have been convicted of a crime and individuals who face addiction.
